Paragon is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our manufacturing
processes without jeopardising the quality of the products produced. We
choose to use environmentally responsible products where possible throughout
the manufacturing process.
Paragon places great importance on research and development issues and have
two dedicated positions with research and development responsibilities focusing
on new technologies and their potential environmental impact versus advances
in print and prepress technologies.
- Paragon has been able to reduce the amount of alcohol used in our printing
process, and are proud that we have succeeded with this on presses
not designed to achieve such a result
- In every possible instant we prefer to recommend and use vegetable based
inks that are capable of producing the same high quality results as traditional
printing inks
- We conform to the ACT Government's strict water waste regulations that monitor
the level of chemicals present in our water waste system as a result of machinery
operation
- We have a responsible recyclable paper waste management program and ensure
all our material is packaged and delivered to clients using materials made from
renewable and recyclable resources
- All consumable waste is recycled in one way or another, from paper waste
to ink tins and canisters
